“ Wow, what a meal. Great food, amazing hospitality and ridiculous value for money. Everything we had was perfect, probably the best chicken Pakora I've ever had. Great lamb chops and Keema naan. The Haleem was probably my favourite dish, incredible texture and flavour. We were given some free sweet rice with our bill and even offered some complimentary tea. Should also mention how good the sweet lassi was! Update: tried the Masala fish tonight, so good we ordered a second portion straight away ”

“ Don't let the name fool you, it's not a kebab shop. It is however, rough round the edges, on Newport road in Grangetown.So actually, if very much has a takeaway aesthetic to it. It's insanely cheap here. A naan bread is 1! Pakoras and a giant chicken leg for starters? 4. You're getting the vibe. This place, this culture, is to feed (Not money grabbing, skimping scum like a hipster London restaurant that I remember paying 1 per poppadom for, That's right, per individual poppadom) For 2 starters, the more expensive Mutton curry, giant rice, naan bread, and a can, it came to 21.50. That main could have fed two people. In fact, I had 450g of it for lunch the next day. Enough with the prices and portions, how did it taste? Bloody lovely. Genuinely really good. Falling off the bone mutton curry for 12, c'mon! ”

The food blew our socks off in the best way possible, and Hasan and the rest there were hospitable and explained the menu in depth to us. This will certainly be a regular spot for us. ”
